The grandstand runs all three days of the fair. Gate admission to the fair covers all events - no other fees
are charged. The show begins each evening at 7:30 pm with the running of the pony chuck wagons. The
grandstand show follows at 8:30 pm.
This year’s long list of entertainers is sure to include something of interest for everyone.

The last day of the fair includes a fireworks display - following the
final grandstand performance.
Live Stage entertainment is featured every day of the fair. The open stage is located directly south of the grandstand.

Four sisters aged 13, 12 and 9 year old twins make up this energetic and dynamic family fiddling group
from Chestermere, Alberta. Almost all the music they play is Celtic or in the same style of the east coast.
It’s toe tapping and upbeat. The band played over 100 different shows last year including the
Calgary Stampede.
Thursday July 29 and Friday July 30
will feature CASH BACK performing a Tribute to Johnny Cash.

Cash Back performs the music of one of the world’s greatest music icons through authentic versions
of songs that made him legendary, ranging from the fifties to the ninety’s including gospel. They
respectfully and lovingly reference the late, great Man In Black’s early Columbia and Sun Records sound.
They try to keep the Cash sound as authentic as possible while adding their own flavor to the mix. Cash Back
draws from a large repertoire of songs either written and/or performed by Cash, including the June Carter Cash
duets. Cash Back also pays tribute to the Carter Family whose music was so influential and who became an
integral part of Johnny Cash’s life. Cash Back is made up of Dave Norman as the “Man in
Black” lead vocals electric/acoustic guitar, Debbie Norman, vocals, bass guitar and Dave Wickett,

Saturday July 31st Grandstand performances will feature comedian Clark Robinson followed by 14 year old Edmonton country singer Danielle Lowe.
Clark Robinson Profile: Funny, laughable, hilarious clean comedy entertainment. Clark Robinson is more
than a comedian. With his juggling skills, eclectic array of props, colourful costumes and razor-sharp
comedic timing, Clark Robinson is a virtual one-man clean comedy variety show.
Danielle Lowe Profile: http://www.daniellelowe.com/ Known as the little girl with the big voice, Danielle has only been singing for the past four years, but has already managed to scale some of Alberta's biggest mountains! Danielle is one of the most active young performers in the province of Alberta with a focus on performing for non-profit organizations. With an enormous booming voice out of her tiny frame, she has left many audiences stunned at her ability to deliver a solid blow to their senses in less time than it takes her to sing one song.
Miss Lowe has performed for numerous high profile non-profit organizations and for both the Oilers and Oil Kings at Rexall Place. She has also been featured on 97.7 Calgary FM (Calgary radio), cityTV, Global Morning (Edmonton television), and 790 CFCW (Edmonton radio). This will also be the third year that she heads to the prestigious Big Valley Jamboree in Camrose.
Danielle's charity work and publicity has translated into unparalleled competition success.She is the first singer in Edmonton history to win all three major vocal competitions as a junior in the same year: Futures Fest, Country Vocal Spotlight and Northern Star. And she is the youngest singer in history to win the open competition of Country Vocal Spotlight as the Grand Winning Act (ages 13 - 99 years)...a competition where she was up against many seasoned adult veterans!
With several original songs now under her belt, this firecracker of a songwriter and performer is well on her way to her dream of being an international modern country star.
